MBA Exclusive Minority Case Competition

Fisher College of Business, Ohio State University along with Key Bank will be hosting the ninth annual Minority MBA Case Competition. The event will be held from 22nd to 24th Feb, 2013 at Cleveland Ohio. The Minority MBA Case Competition is open to universities across USA, in which student make a team of three presenters and compete to win the competition.  In the competition, students have to give professional analysis to complex business cases. This will help participants to gain professional experiences and broad learning.

Eligibility:  Each participating School should have a team of three participants with at least one participant representating an ethnic minority group. The competition encourages the schools to include diverse ethnic minority groups like Asian American, Native American/American Indian, African American, , Hispanic/Latino American or other islander.

Registration: Teams should submit completed registration forms along with resumes of participants and registration fee (non refundable $100).  Meal will be included in the registration fee. Participating teams will be provided hotel accommodation for two days.

Time Line:

  • Forms available: Oct 15th, 2012 –Jan 4th, 2013.
  • Selection notice: Jan 11th, 2013.
  • Case Delivery: Jan 23rd, 2013.
  • Conference call and Q&A from participants: February 1st, 2013.
  • Q&A, responses sent to participants: February 8th, 2013.
  • Minority MBA Case Competition: February 22nd-24th, 2013.

Award: Top four teams will receive scholarship ranging from $1,000-$7,000. Participants will receive individual appreciation certificates and photo plaque.
